Bass Hall is one of the most beautiful venues in the Monadnock Region. Concerts, art shows, presentations, meetings, and parties- your event will find an elegant setting in Bass Hall.

The room is available for rental to individuals, businesses, or organizations. Monadnock Center members receive a generous discount for private function rentals. Email or call (603) 924-3235 to discuss your event booking.

Bass Hall is a multi-use meeting room with a full kitchen. The hall and restrooms are handicap accessible.

 


COVID Policy

Effective March 10, 2022

The Monadnock Center follows Centers for Disease Control (CDC) COVID-19  recommendations and guidelines.

The Monadnock Center has adopted a two-tier mitigation strategy for programs and events happening at the Monadnock Center. The strategy is based on community transmission levels reported by the CDC for Hillsborough and Cheshire County. If either county is experiencing high levels of community transmission, the Monadnock Center will move to the Tier-2 strategy. (Transmission levels by county are reported weekly by the CDC).

Tier-1: Low to Moderate Community Transmission

-Masks are recommended for all visitors (vaccinated and unvaccinated).

-Food may be served.

Tier-2: High Community Transmission

-Masks are required for all visitors (vaccinated and unvaccinated).

Proof of vaccination is required for all guests for events in Bass Hall.

-Proof of vaccination is NOT required for museum visitors.

-Food may not be served.

If you are planning an event in Bass Hall, please note that the transmission level may change and your event will be subject to the mitigation tier in effect at that time of your event. If you book your event when the transmission level is low/moderate and the level moves to high when your event is happening, your event must comply with the Tier-2 strategy.

Booking Your Event

Bass Hall rentals should be booked at least 30 days before the event.  In some cases, we can accommodate bookings less than 30 days in advance. Check with us for availability.

The Monadnock Center expects to receive full payment and completed contract documents 30 days in advance of your event. All bookings must be paid in full or risk cancellation.

Event Cancellation

In the event a renter elects to cancel their event, the rental fee will be reimbursed according to the following schedule:

Cancellation notice received: 30 days or more before the event Rental fee reimbursed 100%
  6-29 days before the event Rental fee reimbursed 50%
  0-5 days before the event Rental fee is not reimbursed

                                                   

Equipment

The following equipment is included in the rental fee:

  • 100 chairs
  • 10 tables (60″ x 30″ resin top)
  • Large projection screen and projection table (you must supply your own projector)
  • PA system and podium

Custodial Service

  • Custodial services include setting up the hall to your specifications and cleaning after your event.
  • Two hours of cleaning time is included in your rental fee. Therefore, any time required beyond two hours will be billed to you at $20 per hour.
  • The custodian is not responsible for garbage or recycling removal. Renters must remove all garbage and recycling.
