Beef Loaf
Serves 6-8
2 pounds round steak, chopped fine
1/2 pound suet, chopped fine
2 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs, softened in cold water
1 small onion, chopped fine
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1. Mix all ingredients together and shape into a loaf.
2. Put in a roasting pan and bake at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 hours, basting frequently.
3. Serve with a tomato sauce.
