with art activities and performances by and for children. And don’t miss the giant puppet parade at noon! This year’s theme is “Things That Go Vroom!”

The Children and the Arts mission is to offer a FREE arts festival to celebrate art for, by, and with the children of our community. The festival selects a unique theme each year and everyone rallies their creative output around that theme. Children and the Arts aims to provide an art event for every student from public, private and homeschooled groups, to provide an opportunity for local children’s art organizations to showcase talents, and to provide venues for professional artists, especially local, to perform and share their craft. While our building is open on festival day, the center’s museum and archives are closed.
