Children and the Arts Festival 2022

“Bugs! Bugs! Bugs!” is the theme for this year’s Children and the Arts Festival! Enjoy this day that celebrates young people and the arts with performances and activities throughout downtown.

On the third Saturday of May since 1993, the Children and the Arts Festival fills downtown Peterborough. Children of all ages revel in shows from local talent to top entertainers and hands-on art opportunities all day. For one hour all eyes turn to our Giant Puppet Parade, when they feast on the creations of students, families, classrooms, and community members as they descend into downtown.

Please note the Monadnock Center museum and research archives are not open on Children and the Arts Day.
