Community Conversations: Time to Let Our Town Cook?

June 21 @ 7:00 pm

Shared Kitchen
Is our region fertile ground for a new community resource- A shared commercial kitchen that can be used by small scale food processors, entrepreneurs, and educators? We will discuss what such a model looks like and the opportunities and challenges for bringing this model to Peterborough.

Moderated by Jonah Wheeler. Featured presenters are Roy Schlieben, Director of MAXT Makerspace, Ciaran Nagel of Foundation Kitchen, and Tabatha Young, a local food entrepreneur.

Community Conversations are designed to explore issues and opportunities through a local lens. After short presentations by our local speakers, the floor is opened to questions, comments and conversation.

Community Conversations are free and all are welcome.

This program will be held in Bass Hall at the Monadnock Center. For those who do not use stairs, ramp access is at the rear of the building.
