Lunch and Learn- The Hurricane of 1938

SOLD OUT! Eighty-four years ago, the Hurricane of 1938 cut a path of devastation through the Monadnock Region when it struck on September 21st. One of the largest hurricanes to ever hit New England, the storm caused widespread damage and left an indelible impression on the people who lived here. In this Lunch & Learn talk, we will look at impact of the Hurricane of 1938 on several towns in the region and share stories from eyewitnesses.

Lunch and Learn features a delicious lunch of pinwheel sandwiches, salad, chips, and cookies served with a choice of lemonade, coffee or tea.

Tickets are $18 ($15 for Monadnock Center members). Purchase your tickets online below or call us at (603) 924-3235.
