Lunch and Learn: Artist Nora Unwin

SOLD OUT!!! Learn about the life and work of artist Nora Spicer Unwin (1907-1982) at our May Lunch & Learn program and visit our new special exhibit of works from the Nora Unwin Collection. Born in England, Unwin began a lifelong collaboration with Peterborough writer Elizabeth Yeats McGreal in 1930s London. After the war, Unwin joined her friend in Peterborough where she her home and took the area’s landscapes, people, flora and fauna as the subjects for her wood engravings and book illustrations.

Lunch & Learn programs begin at noon with a light lunch of pinwheel wrap sandwiches, salad, and chips. After the meal, guests enjoy a special dessert with coffee or tea while listening to a lively illustrated talk.
