July 19 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Learn about Monadnock artist Abbott Thayer and his circle of students in the early 20th century. Famous for his depictions of angels and of the landscape, Thayer was also naturalist and teacher who was a central figure in the push to save Mt. Monadnock from development. Thayer lived in Dublin from 1891 until his death in 1921. During his time in Dublin, he opened his home to selected students. In this talk, we will look at his work and the work of his students Richard Meryman, Rockwell Kent, and Elizabeth Fuller.

Advanced registration is required and tickets will not be sold at the door.

Tickets: $15 ($12 for members) Tickets may be purchased online through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18.
