Monadnock Trivia Exhibit Opening
January 15, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Is it an exhibit or a game? Both! Celebrate the opening of the Monadnock Center’s new exhibit and play while you learn about the region’s rich past. Modeled on the famous Trivial Pursuit game, Monadnock Trivia features questions from the region’s 40 towns paired with artifacts, photos, and documents creating a new and fun way to connect with the past.
With a score card, visitors will explore this interactive exhibit testing their knowledge of the region’s history. Whether you are a lifelong resident or new to the area, you will have fun answering questions about the region’s history, arts, sports, science, geography, and entertainment.
Where was the granite quarried for the U.S. Treasury building? What famous patriot cast the bell that chimes on the hour in Hancock? Where was Pottersville? What local boy invented the first motorcycle? These are just a few of the trivia questions that will have visitors scratching their heads or shouting out the answer when playing Monadnock Trivia!
Monadnock Trivia will open on Friday, January 15 with a reception from 5-6:30 p.m. Wine and light refreshments will be served.
The exhibit will be on view from January 16 to May 27, 2016. The museum is open Wednesday- Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museum admission: $3 (free for Monadnock Center members and children under 12).
