Nora Unwin Exhibition Gallery Talk

Join exhibition curator Michelle Stahl for a gallery talk exploring the artwork of artist, engraver, illustrator and teacher Nora S. Unwin (1907-1982). The talk will take visitors through two galleries displaying Unwin’s work from her days as an art student in London to the abstract compositions of her late career. The retrospective exhibition features more than 80 works from the Nora S. Unwin Collection.
Nora S. Unwin was an important wood engraver in the 20th century with works held by the British Museum, the Library of Congress, the Metropolitan Museum and other major collections. The Monadnock Center holds the largest collection of Nora Unwin art of over 1,200 prints, drawings, paintings, and sketchbooks.
Gallery talks are free with museum admission. Registration is not required.
