The Rough & Tumble- Music in Bass Hall
September 23 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Music in Bass Hall welcomes The Rough & Tumble with opening guests Two Crows for Comfort on Saturday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m.
The Rough & Tumble
The Rough & Tumble, a folk/Americana duo made up of Mallory Graham and Scott Tyler, will have you in stitches one minute and falling apart at the seams the next. After living in a 16ft camper with two big dogs and one tiny hamster for the last 8 years, playing upwards of 150 shows a year, the duo now spends part of their time as residents of New Hampshire.
Playing upwards of 150 shows a year, The Rough & Tumble are equally at home in festival settings, listening rooms and house concerts, their engaging performances and affecting songwriting winning them The Listening Room Network’s Artist of the Year in 2019, official showcases at SERFA and NERFA and the Independent Music Awards Americana Song of the Year for their song “The Hardest Part.” In 2021, they released We’re Only Family If You Say So, an album about what it means to be family, and what it means to lose it. With singles debuting on American Songwriter, The Bluegrass Situation and Grateful Web referring to the album as “a must listen,” it has been embraced by fans for its stark honesty, unique storytelling and well-crafted melodies. Their new album, Only This Far, was released in May 2023.
Two Crows for Comfort
Two Crows for Comfort – a duo that had no intentions of playing anything more than an open mic here and there, and went by a different name anytime they hit the stage. Fast forward a few years and Two Crows (Erin Corbin and Cory Sulyma) have unintentionally created something that seems to work. Joe McKinstry of Concert in the Woods said, “Harmony singing is so key to roots-folk music and Two Crows have nailed that perfectly. What differentiates them within their genre are uniquely arranged original songs that allow their voices to blend and bend around the stories within their often-poignant lyrics. This is acoustic folk music at its best. Cory’s light-hearted, funny, between-song banter made the show even better. A few people in the audience drove more than a hundred miles to come see this duo. Not one of them regretted it.”
