Women of Peterborough Walking Tour

May 7 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free, registration required
Women of Peterborough

The Women of Peterborough

Guests will enjoy a walk through Peterborough as we explore the places where women made their mark. As we roam through downtown, we will discuss a variety of women from the mill girls who worked in the early 19th century textile mills to the affluent and educated women who transformed the downtown in the early 20th century. This walk introduces participants to the many ways women influenced and shaped the town we know today.

The Women of Peterborough Walking Tour is limited to 10 participants. The tour begins at the Monadnock Center, 19 Grove Street, at 3 p.m.

We require face masks for the walk. Guests must respect social distancing while on the walk. We thank you for doing your part to keep everyone safe and healthy!

The walking tour is approximately 60 minutes long. The tour will be held rain or shine. In the event of thunderstorms, we will reschedule the walk and honor your registration for the new date.
