The Women of Peterborough

Guests will enjoy a walk through Peterborough as we explore the places where women made their mark. As we roam through downtown, we will discuss a variety of women from the mill girls who worked in the early 19^th century textile mills to the affluent and educated women who transformed the downtown in the early 20^th century. This walk introduces participants to the many ways women influenced and shaped the town we know today.

The Women of Peterborough Walking Tour is limited to 20 participants. The tour begins at the Monadnock Center, 19 Grove Street. Registration is required.

The tour will be held rain or shine. In the event of thunderstorms, the walking tour will be canceled.
