Ham Canapes
Ham Canapes
Makes 24 canapes
12 thin, white bread slices (Pepperidge Farm Thin-Sliced Bread works well!)
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 pound thin-sliced ham, finely chopped
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sweet relish
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon ground mustard
12 Kalamata olives, pitted and halved
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Using a 2″ round cookie cutter, cut out 24 circles from the bread slices.
3. Brush both sides of bread circles with melted butter and place on a baking sheet.
4. Toast in oven, turning once, until golden brown. About 10 minutes.
5. Combine the rest of the ingredients, except the olives, and spread about a tablespoon on each toast round.
6. Top with olive half and serve.
